At Brown’s, we believe that the retention of the patina and character of your antique furniture is paramount. Our French Polishers will use a sympathetic approach in order to achieve this. We use only traditional hand techniques, coupled with natural oils, waxes and shellacs.

Due to our excellent knowledge of the history of furniture and wood finishing, we are able to restore each piece using repairs and materials in keeping with the period.

Our craftsmen can repair breaks and replace loose or missing veneers.
